Quanwei has commissioned a new coextrusion line dedicated to PP/EVOH high-barrier cups and lids at our Boluo plant. The line combines food-contact PP with an EVOH barrier layer in a single molding step, giving dessert cup customers barrier performance without a separate liner or coating process.
The line currently runs 90 to 200 ml dessert formats with peelable foil-seal lids and snap-fit flat lids. Changeover between the two lid systems takes under thirty minutes, which keeps small-batch customization practical.
An EVOH layer typically cuts oxygen ingress by up to 95 percent compared with mono-PP, which measurably extends shelf life for jelly, pudding, yogurt and mousse lines. The cups remain chill-chain safe and are recyclable with the PP layer.
Samples, permeation test data and SGS reports are available on request. Standard MOQ for custom-printed runs is 20,000 pieces with a 20 to 25 day lead time.
